Privacy Policy

unravelld. ("unravelld", "we", "us") is a fashion discovery platform. We bring products from Pakistani fashion brands into one place and add an AI stylist, so you can find, compare and try pieces without visiting every brand's store one by one. We do not sell clothes ourselves — every purchase happens on the brand's own website, which you reach through a link on our site. This policy explains what information we collect on unravelld., why, and the choices you have.

1. Information we collect

Account information. When you sign in — including with Google — we receive your name, email address and profile picture from your chosen sign-in method, through our authentication provider, Supabase. If you fill in your profile or a family member's profile, that can include age, gender, measurements and saved colour or style preferences, so the Personal Stylist and Family Builder can give you relevant recommendations.

Your activity on unravelld. We keep a record of products you view, click, search for, save to your wishlist or ask the Personal Stylist about, so we can personalise your feed and recommendations. A signed-in visitor can ask us to delete this history at any time (see "Your choices" below).

Virtual try-on photos. If you use Virtual Try-On, we process the photo you upload only to generate your preview. The photo, the garment reference and the generated result are automatically deleted from our servers a short time after processing (currently within 30 minutes), and are never used to train any model or shown to anyone else.

Chat conversations. Messages you send the Personal Stylist, and a short summary of preferences you mention in them (such as a usual size or a favourite colour), are saved to your account so the assistant can remember context across visits. You can clear a conversation from your chat history at any time.

Device and usage data. Like most websites, our servers automatically log basic technical information (IP address, browser type, pages visited, timestamps) for security and to keep the site working correctly.

Push notification tokens. If you allow notifications, your browser gives us a token we use only to send you the alerts you asked for (for example, a wishlist price drop or restock).

Cookies and local storage. We use your browser's local storage to keep you signed in and to remember small preferences (such as a collapsed panel or the last tab you had open). We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

2. How we use your information

• To operate the features you use: the catalogue, Personal Stylist, Family Builder, Virtual Try-On, Compare and Wishlist.
• To personalise your feed and recommendations based on what you have viewed, saved or asked about.
• To send you alerts you have opted into, such as a wishlist price drop or restock.
• To keep unravelld. secure, diagnose problems and improve the service.
• To communicate with you about your account when necessary.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with the fashion brands listed on our site unless you click through to their own website, at which point their own privacy policy applies.

3. Who we share information with

We use a small number of service providers to run unravelld., who process data on our behalf under their own confidentiality and security obligations:

• Supabase — authentication, account data and database hosting.
• Google — if you choose "Sign in with Google".
• OpenAI and Google Gemini — power the Personal Stylist's replies and Virtual Try-On's image generation and photo checks.
• Firebase (Google) — delivers push notifications to your browser.
• Our own image-search infrastructure, used to match products by photo or by visual similarity.

We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, property or safety of unravelld., our users or the public.

4. Your choices

• Access and update. You can review and edit your profile, family members' profiles and saved preferences from your account settings at any time.
• Delete your data. You can remove items from your wishlist, clear a chat conversation, or ask us to delete your account and associated data by contacting us at the email below.
• Notifications. You can turn off push notifications at any time from your browser settings.
• Sign out. Signing out ends your session on this device.

5. Data retention

We keep account and activity data for as long as your account is active, so we can keep giving you relevant recommendations. Virtual try-on photos are deleted automatically within a short time of processing, as described above. If you delete your account, we remove your personal data within a reasonable time, except where we must keep limited records for legal or security reasons.

6. Children's privacy

unravelld. is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. A parent or guardian may add a child's profile within their own family account for styling purposes; that profile is controlled by the account owner, not the child.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time as unravelld. changes. We will update the "Last updated" date above when we do, and material changes will be highlighted on the site.
